PUBLIC STATEMENT
“Thank you and Farewell.
Since 2004 DVLP Clothing has strived to realize a vision of sustainable and transparent business, while simultaneously improving the quality of life of those touched by the brand. DVLP has recently found a way to do something special that no one else in the industry has ever done. We have been working tirelessly to find the money to make our dreams come true and take this Company to the next level. We were almost ready to release our new vision, and at the last minute our investor fell through.
At the same time, we have been fighting to keep DVLP alive since the economy crashed in 2008. Two weeks ago we had to make the tough realization that this burden created such an imbalance that we can no longer sustain our business. So in order for us to do this the right way we have to take a step back.
This is not the last you will see from us, but for now DVLP will no longer be in business. For the next three to four weeks we will continue to sell our product through retail outlets and our online store(www.dvlpclothing.com). Everything will be 70% or more off of retail prices.
We are being forced to close our doors, however we will never give up supporting our community or creating quality products. We are committed to the people who we work with, so we will still be producing our next two events.
- Westword’s annual “Artopia Fashion Show” on Feb 19th at City Hall
- DVLP and Falling Whistles “Whistle Blowing For Peace - Art and Music Festival” on March 26th at BlackBook Gallery and Summit Music Hall
These two events should be amazing and we are excited to continue supporting great people and great causes. The goals of DVLP are inspired by our customers’ passion to live a creative-centric lifestyle. Their desire to always strive for the absolute best in life has kept the DVLP family focused.
Thank you so much for all your support and love.”
