Levi Strauss visits DVLP Clothing Warehouse

Everyone knows the extremely accomplished clothing brand Levi Strauss. Levi’s has been around since 1873, building a company around visions and values. Levi’s believes that “business can drive profits through principles, and that our values as a company and as individuals give us a competitive advantage.” DVLP Clothing has based their core principles upon creating, inspiring, and evolving; which are not so different than our fellow Levi Strauss.
Last Monday Levi’s design team took a tour around the beautiful city of Denver while riding B cycles. They made their way to the DVLP Clothing warehouse to get insights on the operations of this up and coming street wear clothing brand. As the company swarmed the warehouse, they were instantly intrigued by what DVLP Clothing and Omerica Organic, who share the warehouse space, have done to set themselves apart from everyone else in the competitive business world. Levi’s received a tour of the warehouse where they were able to see the in’s and out’s of DVLP Clothing’s operations. As Levi’s is well known for their denim, DVLP has received many praises over their denim line which includes the Midnight Slim Denim and Tiger Demin. The success DVLP has had over the very short years they have produced their denim is overwhelming.
DVLP also expressed their commitment to the idea of sustainability. As DVLP strives to offer high quality sustainable apparel by producing 75% of their product domestically, as well as creating apparel where 20% is made with 100% organic materials; Levi’s in turn believes that “sustainability begins with the product.” As these two companies interacted last week in DVLP Clothing’s remarkable city, both seemed to embark upon similarities.
